Eisenhower Tunnel

I had hard about it now I have been through it along with a few more. We went through four tunnels this was the longest.

Truck Ramp

This is one runaway truck ramp that should stop anyone & quick. We saw more than one like this.

Homes overlooking our Home

Do you see the homes that overlook our small summer home. This parking lot will fill up & this is not all of the lot.

Ruedi Reservoir

As you can see the Reservoir is down. They drain it in the winter so it can hold the summer run off. It will fill up. It is three miles wide & five miles long and two hundred feet deep. We have seen them put some large boats on it. One day two men came by & gave Wilma & I four trout & were they good. They say they taste better out of the Ruedi because it is so cold (50 degrees F), and yes there have been people water skiing (they use dry suits). NOT FOR ME.

Our Summer Home

As you can there is a little bit of Texas in CO. We are doing well with our Solar Panels, and have cooked twice in our Solar Oven. We have got some more food ready to put in the oven in the next few days. It was nice to get off work & have Dinner ready. It was not as good as what Lynda (our daughter) makes, but we all three could eat it & no one got sick (yet).
